Avengers Assemble: Tuesday, January 31 on Twitter with Prizes and Sneak Peek

Marvel Studios announced a “twitter chat” on Tuesday, January 31, 2012 at 2:00pm ET/11:00am PT with writer/director Joss Whedon and cast members Tom Hiddleston and Clark Gregg of the upcoming film “Marvel’s The Avengers.”  Participants of the 30-minute live tweeting event will get a tease of the new 30-second Super Bowl spot for the film (isn’t the spot already a tease?) and a chance to win prizes.  Update January 30, 2012: Marvel announced that Samuel L. Jackson (Nick Fury) will also join tomorrow’s twitter event.  Update January 31, 2012: Sneak peek of Super Bowl commercial added after the break.

To participate in the Q&A session, tweet questions using the @Avengers handle and the #Avengers hashtag.  Participants will also have the chance to answer “Avengers” trivia questions for a chance to win “Avengers” prize packs.  International fans can submit questions in their native language through a global translation tool provided by Ortsbo.com.  The chat will be moderated by Marvel’s @Agent_M.
