Star Wars: Episode I The Phantom Menace Returns in 3D with Hasbro Toy Giveaways and Special Events

On February 10, 2012, Star Wars: Episode I The Phantom Menace returns to theaters for the first time in 3D.  Exclusively at AMC Theares during the entire opening weekend, everyone who purchases a Real D 3D ticket will receive an all-new Hasbro Star Wars Fighter Pod (limit one per ticket, while supplies last).  Furthermore, 10 AMC Theatres across the United States will host special event 3D screenings with family activities, giveaways, character experiences and more.  Continue after the break for more details and the theater locations.

On Saturday, Feb 11 at 11 am local time, 10 theaters will host a special event including (while supplies last):

  • Exclusive Anakin Skywalker Podracer 3D glasses with ticket purchase
  • A Hasbro Star Wars FIGHTER PODS collectible toy with RealD 3D ticket purchase
  • A LEGO® feature area
  • Special character appearances for photo opportunities
  • Demonstrations of the upcoming Xbox Kinect™ Star Wars™
  • Darth Maul face-painting; a chance to reveal your inner Sith Lord at long last!

  • New York: AMC Empire 25; AMC Garden State 16;
  • Phoenix: AMC Mesa Grand 24;
  • San Francisco: AMC Emeryville Bay Street 16
