VIDEO Theme Park Survival Strategies at Seabreeze Amusement Park

One day I was nestled in the living room with my family, on our comfy couch, probably under blankets, watching other people survive in the wild on TV in a show like Survivorman or Dual Survival or Man, Woman, Wild or perhaps even Survivor.  I, jokingly, made the comment, “I could do that!” as somebody rappelled down a waterfall, ate a gooey grub, or struggled to build a fire.  My daughter looked at me and said, “don’t take this the wrong way, but you’re more of a theme park survivor.”  And it hit me, yes, I’m a theme park ranger, and can help others as they navigate through the treacherous wilds of those untamed concrete jungles.  With that simple statement Dad, Daughter, Wild, a new video of theme park survival strategies, was born.  Take a look at our initial episode below filmed on Father’s Day at Seabreeze Amusement Park in Rochester, NY.

What do you think of our “pilot” episode?  Should we get picked up for a full season?  I can see all kinds of possibilities – navigating water parks, high thrill roller coasters, or that vacation kingdom of them all survival in Walt Disney World.  Please leave a comment below, and let us know if you want us to continue the series.  For more family travel news, reviews, and trip reports, be sure to follow Adventures by Daddy on twitter and “like” our facebook page too.
