Give Kids The World is inviting you to run for a reason, and bring a smile to a sick child.  Each year over 27,000 children are diagnosed with a life-threatening illness, and over half those kids wish to visit a Central Florida theme park or attraction.  GKTW works in concert with wish granting organizations (Make-A-Wish, Dream Factory, etc.) to arrange a week long vacation for the entire family at their Kissimmee, Florida resort just three miles from Walt Disney World.  GKTW provides accommodations at the Village, donated tickets to the theme parks, meals, and more during this week-long wish-fulfilling vacation.  You have a dream to complete the Walt Disney World full or half marathon, why not help children’s dreams come true at the same time?

Give Kids The World Alternative Break

By joining the Run GKTW Team, you commit to raising money for the organization.  The majority of these funds go directly towards providing these families with a magical vacation.  GKTW is one of the highest rated charities in Charity Navigator, America’s largest and most-utilized independent evaluator of charities, and, in 2012, for each dollar spent by GKTW, approximately 92 cents went directly towards fulfilling the mission of the organization.  To complete the Walt Disney World Half or Full marathon, you need strength, and GKTW provides strength to families to persevere.
