Inaugural Busch Gardens Williamsburg Food and Wine Festival Starts May 2013

Busch Gardens Williamsburg opened in March for their 2013 season.  While 2012 saw the addition of Verbolten, the indoor/outdoor, multi-launch roller coaster to their attraction lineup, the “World’s Most Beautiful Park” is not resting on its laurels.  In two weeks, Busch Gardens Williamsburg will introduce its first ever food festival each weekend from May 31 – June 23, 2013.  Guests can stroll through the European themed amusement park to sample food and beverages paired with family-friendly entertainment.  Admission to the festival is included with your park ticket, but food and beverages will cost an additional fee (~$3-$7 each).  These foodie events have been popular additions to other theme parks such as the Epcot International Food and Wine Festival and SeaWorld’s Bands, Brews, and BBQ.  So it will be interesting to hear the reviews for this inaugural Busch Gardens Williamsburg event.  Continue reading for more details from Busch Gardens’ press release.
