VIDEO Disney’s Jungle Cruise Transforms into “Jingle Cruise” for the Holidays

In October the DisneyParks blog announced their iconic Jungle Cruise attraction would get a makeover to become “Jingle Cruise” for the holidays.  An immense Santa hat festooned elephant and hippo dominated the attraction poster, and excitement mounted for a new update to this classic Disney attraction.  Might this be another creative overlay to rival Disneyland’s Haunted Mansion Holiday?  Check out the VIDEO highlights below and see for yourself.

Unfortunately, the makeover was little more than seasonal names slapped onto the boats, a few baubles and bells in the boathouse, and winter-time jokes added to the skipper’s banner.

Compare this to the recent refurbishment the Jungle Cruise received in October in our full ride video here.

What do you think of the Jingle Cruise “makeover” to Disney’s Jungle Cruise?  Would you want to see more holiday additions to this attraction, or would you rather see it left just the way you always remember?  Do you think there will be any other “plusses” featured when Jingle Cruise debuts in Disneyland on November 12?  Please share your thoughts in the comments below.

About John Saccheri

John Saccheri has been rooted in the Disney culture from childhood. John only had the opportunity to visit Walt Disney World once, at the age of 5. After returning home, he never stopped talking about it, yearning to return. His parents were worried about this “obsession,” but John began working at the age of 12 with a focus on saving up for the next Disney trip. He was able to visit Disney World at least once a year from 14 years old onward. Today, a successful entrepreneur, John was able to move from his hometown of Long Island, New York, to Central Florida to be close to the Mouse. Going to the parks still seems like a fantasy to him!
