LIVE Blog: Inside the Walt Disney Studios for #FrozenBluray and #PirateFairyBloggers Event

I’m currently in sunny Los Angeles, California on a Disney Home Entertainment press trip for the upcoming Blu-ray releases of Disney’s FROZEN and the latest Tinker Bell movie, THE PIRATE FAIRY.  I’m tweeting LIVE on the @AdventuresbyDad twitter handle and posting updates to the Adventures by Daddy facebook page, but just in case you missed anything, you can find all the tweets and photos embedded below.  We’ll have a lot more details on all the adventures of the trip in the days and weeks to come, but, for now, come along with me on Disney’s #FROZENBluray and #PIRATEFAIRYBloggers press junket.

Over the weekend, I made a quick visit to the Disneyland Resort prior to the beginning of the press event at the Walt Disney Studios.

Leaving the Walt Disney Studios for an early screening of NEED FOR SPEED

Watch for a full, spoiler-free review of NEED FOR SPEED in the coming weeks ahead of its March 14 release.

I hope you enjoyed this peek inside the Walt Disney Studios.  We’ll continue to add more as the press event continues.  Today, Wednesday, February 12, is all about the newest Disney Fairies movie THE PIRATE FAIRY produced by DisneyToon Studios.

We had a preview screening of the film, and will be posting a spoiler-free review prior to its April 1st release.

During lunch we were treated to a merchandise presentation tied to the new film.

And then, we were instructed to observe strict social media silence…

Final stop of the trip was a visit to the Disney Animation Research Library.

Animators for “The Pirate Fairy” spent hours researching the original Peter Pan sketches to insure continuity for the upcoming Disney Fairies film.

Well, that’s all for the LIVE coverage of the #FrozenBluray and #PirateFairyBloggers press junket. Be sure to check back in the days and weeks to come for full, detailed posts on all the various aspects of the trip.
