The LEGO Movie Experience at LEGOLAND California takes guests inside Bricksburg, giving the entire family a birds-eye view of sets from the smash hit film. With more than 1,200 sets and over 3,000,000 (yes, THREE MILLION) LEGO bricks, it took a team of ten Model Builders more than 2,000 hours to originally assemble, and a team of four Model Builders six weeks to assemble in LEGOLAND California. The amount of details in this giant set piece is incredible. Not a single nook & cranny was overlooked, and there are little surprises throughout the display. In addition to the sets, guests can watch film footage and cast interviews on surrounding monitors throughout the attraction. Just outside, families can meet the stars of the film, Emmet and Wyldstyle, throughout the day. Adventures by Daddy had the opportunity to visit LEGOLAND California this past weekend, continue scrolling as we take you on photo tour of The LEGO Movie Experience. If you’re planning a trip to LEGOLAND California in the coming months, I highly recommend checking out The LEGO Movie Experience because it is pretty awesome (I just had to say it, though it is true). Even if you haven’t seen the film yet, the amount of detail makes this a must-see, and its something the entire family can enjoy together.
