TRANSPORTATION FOR THE FUN OF IT! If you are at all familiar with the Harry Potter Books or Films, then you have heard about the Hogwarts Express. A gorgeous old time steam locomotive that transports students to Hogwarts Castle and back to London. As if it were literally ripped out of the pages of the book or taken off the silver screen, Universal Studios Florida has made the Hogwarts Express at Diagon Alley, and Harry’s journey is a complete reality in exquisite fashion.
More than just an attraction by itself, it serves the useful service of shuttling theme park guests between Universal Orlando’s two unique theme parks. If you have a park-to-park admission ticket, you can pass through Platform 9 ¾ and board the Hogwarts Express from King’s Cross Station in London, located inside Universal Studios Florida, and travel to Hogsmeade Station, located inside Universal’s Islands of Adventure.
And the old saying, “The Journey Is Half the Fun,” is an understatement here. You board your cabin that fits up to eight guests. From the train windows, you will see the magnificent scenery of London, the British countryside and encounter some of your favorite characters featured in the films. It is an enchanting magical adventure the whole family can enjoy!
The journey from Hogsmeade Station to King’s Cross Station is, as you would imagine, a totally different experience than the one from King’s Cross Station back to Hogsmeade. Be sure to embark on both for the complete experience along with a few surprises.
The trip to and fro takes a little over 4 minutes each way. You may be so entertained by the immersive storytelling that you will forget that you are travelling between two immense theme parks, both that will soon have unique Wizarding World of Harry Potter experiences.
The 2 videos below are the complete Multi Angle PandaVision journeys – They do contain spoilers, so please watch only if it won’t spoil your fun.
