The new animated show MILES FROM TOMORROWLAND is the brainchild of creator and executive producer Sascha Paladino. And he is an adventurer himself. It took him five years to bring the concept to screen. Years of research and planning, plus raising his own family, helped him shape the show into what it has become today. The countdown has begun to the February 6th premiere of Disney Junior’s new intergalactic adventure series, MILES FROM TOMORROWLAND. The half-hour show incorporates science facts, with the help of consultants from NASA and the Jet Propulsion Laboratory, among other experts, into the journey of young adventurer Miles Callisto and his family as they travel the galaxy via the Tomorrowland Transit Authority. (Does this ring a bell, Disneyland fans?)

We loved the fact that MILES FROM TOMORROWLAND incorporates the whole family in the adventure with Miles including - mom and ship captain, Phoebe; mechanical engineer dad, Leo; tech-savvy big sister, Loretta; and best friend pet robo-ostrich, Merc. Together, the family explores new galaxies filled with peculiar aliens, space-age vehicles and high-tech gadgets, taking young viewers and their families on a futuristic journey designed to fuel kids’ natural interest in space and at the same time reminding them of the importance of what lies close to home – the family bond.
