On Friday, October 2nd, Lucasfilm Ltd. gathered the press together for a look at STAR WARS REBELS Season 2 with Dave Filoni (creator, writer), Ashley Eckstein (Ahsoka), Vanessa Marshall (Hera), Freddie Prinze, Jr. (Kanan), and Dee Bradley Baker (Captain Rex and Clones). You can watch the video below for the full press conference where Dave Filoni discusses the relevance of Ahsoka Tano, Captain Rex, Wolffe and Gregor to the story; Ashley Eckstein channels Obi-Wan more when voicing Ahsoka; the relationship between Hera (Vanessa Marshall) and Kanan (Freddie Prinze, Jr.); and Dee Bradley Baker playing more Star Wars characters than anyone in the world. New episodes of STAR WARS REBELS start on Wednesday, October 14 (9:30 p.m., ET/PT) on Disney XD.
During the day and press conference, it was revealed that Sarah Michelle Gellar voices the STAR WARS REBELS adversary the Seventh Sister Inquisitor.
A master of deception, the Seventh Sister Inquisitor is tasked by Darth Vader to track down the rebels and capture any surviving Jedi. She’s conniving, manipulative, and deadly with a lightsaber.
In real life, Sarah Michelle Gellar is married to Freddie Prinze Jr. the voice of one of the last remaining Jedi, Kanan. Gellar comments that the Seventh Sister Inquisitor plays “cat and mouse” with Kanan in the show.
We’re still waiting to learn more about the second Inquisitor (seen in the image below) for STAR WARS REBELS Season 2, the Fifth Brother Inquisitor.
