J.K. Rowling’s FANTASTIC BEASTS AND WHERE TO FIND THEM Coming November 18, 2016

J.K. Rowling invites us back to the Wizarding World for FANTASTIC BEASTS AND WHERE TO FIND THEM opening November 18, 2016.  The film follows the journey of Newt Scamander (played by Academy Award winner Eddie Redmayne), the Wizarding World’s preeminent magizoologist, who in his travels has encountered and documented a myriad of magical creatures, ultimately leading to his penning the Hogwarts School textbook Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them. Harry Potter author J.K. During the third annual Celebration of Harry Potter event at Universal Orlando Resort, fans were treated to an exclusive behind-the-scenes look at FANTASTIC BEASTS AND WHERE TO FIND THEM.

FANTASTIC BEASTS AND WHERE TO FIND THEM opens in 1926 as Newt Scamander has just completed a global excursion to find and document an extraordinary array of magical creatures.  Arriving in New York for a brief stopover, he might have come and gone without incident… were it not for a No-Maj (American for Muggle) named Jacob, a misplaced magical case, and the escape of Newt’s fantastic beasts, which could spell trouble for both the wizarding and No-Maj worlds.

FANTASTIC BEASTS AND WHERE TO FIND THEM is Warner Bros. Pictures’ all new adventure is set in the wizarding world created by J.K. Rowling in her best-selling Harry Potter books, which were adapted into the highest-grossing film franchise of all time.  Principal photography took place at Warner Bros. Studios, Leavesden, under the direction of David Yates, who helmed the last four “Harry Potter” feature films.
