STAR WARS: REBELS Season 2 Finale Red Carpet PICS & VIDEO

Fear not for spoilers in this post, this is simply a photoblog and Periscope of the Red Carpet. Enjoy!

In true Disney fashion, Disney Channel PR and Lucasfilm put on a genuine Red Carpet bash at Walt Disney Studios in Burbank, CA for the Season Two Finale of STAR WARS: REBELS.

We were told that creators and writers Dave Filoni and Simon Kinberg would be there, along with a few special guests. Well, the “special guests” turned out to be the entire voice cast of Star Wars: Rebels!

Dave Filoni (creator, writer), Simon Kinberg (creator, writer), Ashley Eckstein (Ahsoka Tano), Vanessa Marshall (Hera), Tiya Sircar (Sabine), Steve Blum (Zeb), Taylor Gray (Ezra) and Dee Bradley Baker (Captain Rex) all walked the Red Carpet.

We arrived pretty early and were able to take advantage of the fun photo booth. You could choose two backgrounds, Rebels or Vader. Since there were no lines, we chose both! In this new age of social media and sharing, I love that this is a thing.

Our ticket into the Main Theater was this beautiful Vader/Ahsoka design that Dave Filoni drew himself. It’s a beautiful momento.

After the photo booth, I turned around and the Red Carpet was hopping! The cast had arrived! Here is a Periscope of the event which really captures the excitement of the evening:

After the Red Carpet wrapped, all of us moved into the theater to watch the 50 minute finale. As I learned later in the Q&A, not only were we watching it with the cast, but also several members of the Story Group - Kiri Hart, Leland Chee and Carrie Beck , as well as series composer Kevin Kiner, whom I was able to talk with after the show.

Look for a special STAR WARS: REBELS episode of Skywalking Through Neverland with audio from the amazing and informative Q&A after the screening, as well as our interviews with Ashley Eckstein, Dave Filoni, Kevin Kiner and Vanessa Marshall.
