VIDEO STAR WARS Stage Show at Disney’s Hollywood Studios Debuts

There’s been an awakening, have you felt it?  A STAR WARS stage show at Disney’s Hollywood Studios awakened on Sunday, April 3, 2016 and featured a dramatic montage of video clips from the saga as well as on-stage appearances from droids, aliens, and villains.  Relying a bit too much on movie screens in my opinion, the Star Wars stage show does have some notable character appearances including Kylo Ren, Captain Phasma and BB-8 to name a few, take a look in the video below.

In the next video, the March of the First Order Stormtrooper procession is led by Captain Phasma from Star Wars Launch Bay to the park’s Center Stage to add more menace to the park’s entertainment offerings.

The just-opened Star Wars Launch Bay showcases large-scale artifacts and encounters with characters including Kylo Ren and Chewbacca.

Other new Star Wars themed experiences at Disney’s Hollywood Studios include the re-imagined Jedi Training: Trials of the Temple experience with characters from Star Wars: Rebels.  And at Star Tours – The Adventures Continue, guests buckle up for an enhanced high-speed journey with new Force Awakens characters and a visit to Jakku.

Of course, all these Star Wars additions to Disney’s Hollywood Studios are the prelude for the official unveiling of a full-blown Star Wars Land coming to both Disneyland and Disney’s Hollywood Studios far, far away in the future.  In fact, the park recently closed the Streets of America; Honey I Shrunk the Kids playground; and Lights, Motor, Action stunt show in order to make room for the construction.

About John Saccheri

John Saccheri has been rooted in the Disney culture from childhood. John only had the opportunity to visit Walt Disney World once, at the age of 5. After returning home, he never stopped talking about it, yearning to return. His parents were worried about this “obsession,” but John began working at the age of 12 with a focus on saving up for the next Disney trip. He was able to visit Disney World at least once a year from 14 years old onward. Today, a successful entrepreneur, John was able to move from his hometown of Long Island, New York, to Central Florida to be close to the Mouse. Going to the parks still seems like a fantasy to him!
