As the air starts to cool and the days get shorter it means Halloween is coming to Walt Disney World’s Magic Kingdom! Mickey’s Not So Scary Halloween Party is one of my favorite events all year. I love trick-or-treating with Mickey and all his friends, seeing the fall decorations down Main Street U.S.A., and seeing the characters that only come out for happy haunts. Come along for a tour of Mickey’s Not So Scary Halloween at the Magic Kingdom including the Headless Horseman, Boo To You Parade, Madame Renata and everything that makes Mickey’s Not So Scary Halloween Party so fun.
The Boo To You Parade is one of the highlights of Mickey’s Not So Scary Halloween Party, and a truly spook-tacular procession. This year at Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party, a hair-raising ride by the Headless Horseman himself begins the festivities, followed by a collection of frightening floats featuring Disney Characters in Halloween costumes. Prepare for a cauldron of grave-digging delights as the stars of the Haunted Mansion steal the spotlight in this family-friendly parade. Boo-lovers beware—you’re sure to have one scare-tastic time… And remember, it’s really not so scary; just fiendish fun!
Strange things happen during Mickey’s Not So Scary Halloween Party at the Magic Kingdom in Walt Disney World. The Haunted Mansion is currently getting a facelift (facade refurbishment) so the spirits that are usually on the lawn are now more up close and personal. Here, Madame Renata speaks with us about the afterlife and the topic stays on food mostly. My favorite subject. She is NOT a shy gal! LOL
And the Sanderson Sisters are back! Returning for a second year, the Hocus Pocus Villain Spelltacular stage show brings together Disney Villains and the mischievous sisters to cast a spell over Magic Kingdom three times each party night. Click here for full video of the show.
Each evening is capped off by “HalloWishes,” a green and orange fireworks spectacle complete with Disney villains and hosted by Jack Skellington himself. Mickey’s Not So Scary Halloween Party takes place on 29 select nights from September 2 through Halloween night October 31. Walt Disney World’s Magic Kingdom Park hosts this spooktacular after-hours party from 7 pm – midnight, but you can get into the park as early as 4:30pm with a party ticket.
