Bonnie Wright proclaimed “alohomora!” to unveil The Harry Potter and Fantastic Beasts Exhibit (Ginny Weasley, Harry Potter film series) – a new addition to the Warner Bros. Studio Tour Hollywood.
Dan Fogler, who played the lovable No-Maj and aspiring baker, Jacob Kowalski, in Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them, was also on hand to perform for the cameras.
The tour itself is comprehensive, encompassing not only actual props and costumes from Fantastic Beasts and Where To Find Them, but the entire Harry Potter film series as well. If you are a huge Potter-head, like me, you will be delighted to see the Privet Drive sign, the Marauders Map, the actual Dumbledore’s Army list – hand-written in pencil, folks – you can tell! It is amazing.
But the cream of the crop, the tip of the top, is the Sorting Hat. You are actually sorted into a House!! I was as relieved as Harry to be sorted into….better be…..Gryffindor!
Have a look through the gallery below for some fantastic images. Though these give you just a hint of what it’s actually like to be standing in front of these amazing items.
You may have also noticed several props and costumes from Fantastic Beasts and Where To Find Them. Fully 1/3 of the exhibit is dedicated to the new film. Now, you can’t eat them, but the enchanted pastries are a big part of the movie and this exhibit. You MUST take your picture with them!
Thanks to J.K. Rowling’s Wizarding World, we have some amazing books that have been a part of our lives for nearly 20 years. On December 9th, you can see the magic come to life before your very eyes in the Harry Potter and Fantastic Beasts exhibit at Warner Bros. Studio Tour Hollywood.
