VIDEO Meet Baby Groot and Star-Lord at Disney’s Hollywood Studios in Walt Disney World

Who doesn’t want to meet Baby Groot after seeing GUARDIANS OF THE GALAXY, Vol. 2? Disney knew fans would be clamoring to meet Baby Groot, and they debuted a meet and greet opportunity with Star-Lord at Disney’s Hollywood Studios at Walt Disney World in Florida.  Check out the video below for the surprise and reaction of fans when they meet Baby Groot.

Meet Baby Groot

This GUARDIANS OF THE GALAXY, Vol. 2 meet & greet bumped Moana from the back of the One Man’s Dream attraction in the park.  While Star-Lord is present, Baby Groot is the absolute hit as he upstages Star-Lord every time.  I watched people completely ignore Star-Lord to take selfies with Baby Groot.  The adorable twig routinely reacts to visitors with varying iterations of “I Am Groot” which Star-Lord lovingly decodes.  Take a look.

It’s a wonderful meet and greet sure to put a smile on most faces.  Those who are fans of the Marvel GUARDIANS OF THE GALAXY films will definitely get the biggest kick out of it.

Star-Lord

Similar to the new BB-8 meet and greet at Disney’s Hollywood Studios, visitors are encouraged to get up close and personal when they meet Baby Groot, oh and Star-Lord too.  These new interactive characters are a welcome addition to the parks.  It’s great to have full access to Baby Groot and Star-Lord, and it makes the experience that much more personal.  No telling how long this meet Baby Groot and Star-Lord experience will last.  So if you’re interested, you better head to Disney’s Hollywood Studios soon.

GUARDIANS OF THE GALAXY, Vol. 2 is in theaters now.  Have you seen it?  If not, check out our spoiler-free review, and let us know what you think.

About John Saccheri

John Saccheri has been rooted in the Disney culture from childhood. John only had the opportunity to visit Walt Disney World once, at the age of 5. After returning home, he never stopped talking about it, yearning to return. His parents were worried about this “obsession,” but John began working at the age of 12 with a focus on saving up for the next Disney trip. He was able to visit Disney World at least once a year from 14 years old onward. Today, a successful entrepreneur, John was able to move from his hometown of Long Island, New York, to Central Florida to be close to the Mouse. Going to the parks still seems like a fantasy to him!
