Once Ben Kenobi told us “You will never find a more wretched hive of scum and villainy” in 1977 fans of Star Wars having been longing for a blue milk or cocktail at Chalmun’s Mos Eisley Cantina. The Scum and Villainy Cantina at 6377 Hollywood Boulevard in Los Angeles is located right on the famous Hollywood Walk of Fame. This temporary pop-up experience transports you into an immersive environment where you drink, eat, and hang out as if you were in another galaxy.
You will enter past a Droid Detector to a recreation of the famous cantina bar.
The bar itself complete with themed bar spigots modeled after head of IG-series droids serves up themed drinks and limited bar menu of tacos, quesadillas, tater-tots, chips and quesa.
Don’t pass up the Blue Milk!
The cantina experience is very much what you make of it, they provide the playground and it is up to you and your friends to bring it to life. I recommend that you dress up and go with a group of friends.
Get out your best Dr. Evazan or Ponda Baba costumes because costumes are encouraged and will make the experience unforgettable when you play along.
The cantina is all ages. You must have a valid ID to consume alcoholic beverages and children under 8 years old do not need a ticket. However, it is a bar, alcoholic beverages are flowing and you may find Stormtroopers with beer in hand.
Included with your reservation is two drink coupons, a souvenir pint glass, Scum and Villainy challenge coin and two hours in the cantina. The coin can be used for half price cash re-entry during any future open walk-up availability.
While The Scum and Villainy Cantina in Hollywood is billed as “an immersive, intergalactic bar experience that transports you to anther galaxy” it should be noted that is also not an official Star Wars event and does not mention the franchise in any of it promotional materials.
