On Saturday Adventures by Daddy was invited to cover LEGO Star Wars Days at Legoland California. As you would expect the amazing Star Wars: The Force Awakens Miniland Model Display was the center of Star Wars Days along with a day full of activities and fun.
Led by Darth Vader, members of the Imperial Sands Garrison of the 501st Legion, Rebel Legion Sunrider Base, and the Haran’Galaar Clan of the Mandalorian Mercs costume clubs brilliantly set the stage starting with a grand entrance before the gates opened.
Park guests participated in a Droid Hunt game where guests of all ages receive participation badges and were asked by Imperial personnel “How long have you had these droids?”
The fan favorite was the impressive LEGO themed models, photography and model scenes from fans in the LEGO Star Wars Fan Gallery atop the Model Shop.
The Family Build Challenge had guests putting their building skills together as they raced against the clock to build a team Star Wars model.
Miniland Scavenger Hunt gave guests a scavenger guide that lead them through the park with Star Wars trivia questions and finding the answers by searching through the Star Wars: The Force Awakens Miniland Model Display.
For children 12 and under a Star Wars costume contest was held for the guests to show off the best Star Wars costumes.
WB Games Family Game Space featured LEGO Star Wars Video Games while Jedi Trivia was held on the main stage putting Jedi knowledge to the test for all age groups.
LEGO Star Wars Days had all five episodes of LEGO Star Wars: Droid Tales showing at the LEGO Show Place theater, and on Saturday we were joined by the show’s writer and executive producer, Michael Price, for a special Q&A after the showing.
