Star Wars Forces of Destiny returns Monday, March 19th with all-new adventures for heroes throughout the Star Wars saga. Following the debut starting at 10:00am PST on Disney YouTube, there will be a can’t-miss TV special to follow on Disney Channel on March 25th at 9:50pm ET/PT immediately after the broadcast premiere of Zootopia.

Talent from across Star Wars films and TV reprise their roles – Mark Hamill (Luke), Daisy Ridley (Rey), John Boyega (Finn), Lupita Nyong’o (Maz), Kelly Marie Tran (Rose), Tiya Sircar (Sabine), Ashley Eckstein (Ahsoka), Vanessa Marshall (Hera), Catherine Taber (Padmé) and Matt Lanter (Anakin), among others.

Princess Leia and Star Wars Rebels’ Sabine Wren (voiced by Tiya Sircar) team up to battle bounty hunter IG-88 while on a secret mission for the Rebel Alliance.

Ahsoka Tano (voiced by Ashley Eckstein) saves the day in STAR WARS FORCES OF DESTINY Episode 4, The Padawan Path. Set in The Clone Wars era, Ahsoka’s master, Anakin Skywalker, and Master Yoda also make an appearance.

STAR WARS FORCES OF DESTINY Episode 3, Ewok Escape, has the return of Princess Leia (voiced by Shelby Young) from the time of Return of the Jedi.  This is Shelby Young’s first role in the Star Wars Universe.

Episode 2 of STAR WARS FORCES OF DESTINY, BB-8 Bandits, continues to follow Rey and BB-8 on Jakku as they square off with scavenger thugs who want to steal BB-8. He’s quite the valuable droid isn’t he?

STAR WARS FORCES OF DESTINY, a new animated microseries from Lucasfilm, debuts July 3, 2017 on YouTube.com/Disney.  The shorts provide backstory for some of our favorite characters in the Star Wars Universe.  As a Dad of two daughters, one of my favorite aspects of this newest generation of Star Wars films are the strong female role models.  We were capitvated by Rey in Star Wars: The Force Awakens, and can’t wait to see more of her hero’s journey in Star Wars: The Last Jedi.  My oldest daughter Maggie (age 19) said Rogue One: A Star Wars Story was her favorite Star Wars movie, and Jyn Erso was certainly a huge reason why.  I’m thrilled that Lucasfilm Ltd. is hearing the voice of the fans and giving us more of these strong heroines.  Continue reading for more details and a sneak peek of STAR WARS FORCES OF DESTINY.

STAR WARS FORCES OF DESTINY, an original series of animated shorts which explore the untold stories that helped shape the destinies of Rey, Jyn Erso, Princess Leia, Sabine Wren, Padmé Amidala, Ahsoka Tano and others, will make its debut beginning on July 3rd on YouTube.com/Disney.

A new short will premiere online each day at 1pm ET, culminating with their broadcast debut on Disney Channel, Sunday, July 9th.

STAR WARS FORCES OF DESTINY will also be supported by global product extensions such as books, apparel, bedding, as well as Hasbro adventure figures & role play items available beginning August 1st.

Remember when people couldn’t find any Rey merchandise in stores following the December release of The Force Awakens? Yes, Lucasfilm Ltd., won’t make that mistake again. I’m sure the shelves will be stocked with plenty of Rey action figures for STAR WARS FORCES OF DESTINY… along with Ahsoka, and Jyn, and Sabine, and Leia, and…
