The LEGOLAND Castle Hotel welcomed knights, princesses, wizards, and dragons to the LEGOLAND California Resort, and Adventures by Daddy was invited to the grand opening. The LEGOLAND Castle Hotel is the first hotel of its kind, and fully-designed to immerse kids and families into a world of LEGO fantasy with LEGO Castle décor throughout. The 20 suites and 230 premium LEGO Castle themed rooms with your choice of Knights & Dragons, Royal Princess or Magic Wizard.  Each room contains a separate kids’ area with LEGO building tables and scavenger hunt.

The LEGOLAND Castle Hotel is located right at the main entrance of LEGOLAND California.  Upon entering, guests step into a Grand Hall and meet a great LEGO wizard before taking the magical levitating lift (elevator) to one of three different floors to continue their adventure. Other unique features include a slide in the Grand Hall and LEGO Castle décor throughout.

New themed restaurant – Dragon’s Den Restaurant & Bar.  In Dragon’s Den, a full-service sit down restaurant, guests can watch chefs preparing their food, enjoy LEGO models and entertainers within a unique dining experience. Breakfast is included with each guest’s stay and includes made-to-order items along with a buffet.

The Royal Courtyard immerses children in a fairy tale of their own creation with multiple play areas for different age groups, a giant movie screen, and a tented stage for live plays and shows.

Interactive elements throughout LEGOLAND Castle Hotel include a knock-knock door, a royal throne that makes silly noises, LEGO caricatures to build upon, and a self-playing piano. 2,100 LEGO models can be found throughout the hotel constructed by using more than 3 million LEGO bricks.

The LEGO Royal Statue outside the hotel entrance took master builders 1,243 hours to build using 251,656 LEGO pieces and weighing 1,563 pounds.
