VIDEO Universal Cinematic Celebration – The Epic NEW Nighttime Show

On Monday July 16th, 2018, Universal Orlando officially premiered their new nighttime spectacular called “Universal Orlando’s Cinematic Celebration.” This new show combines many of your favorite movies like Jurassic Park, Harry Potter, E.T, and more along with water, lights, music, and projections. This is truly the best nighttime show Universal Orlando has ever created and is quite possibly one of the best nighttime shows at the theme parks in Central Florida.

The show takes place on the main lagoon at Universal Studios Florida and has a special dedicated viewing area near Transformers – The Ride 3D and the Kid-Zone. The show performs nightly this summer and depending on park hours will have different showtimes so if you plan to see this show check a Times Guide once you enter the park.

Once the show begins, the fountains in the lagoon come alive and dance to the epic music along with many of your favorite movies that you may have experienced throughout Universal Orlando that day! The show resembles that of World of Color from Disney California Adventure, with the fountains, lasers, lights, but also the addition of pyrotechnics really adds to the overall beauty of this spectacular. I fully expect with the show’s nature that Universal could add new segments to the show to promote new features. Perhaps we might see a new segment in the Fall for the upcoming Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them sequel.

I am truly in love with this new show and I will probably find myself staying late in the parks just to see this show repeatedly.
