REVIEW: Ralph Breaks VR at The VOID in Disney Springs

Today, we were invited to experience the new Virtual Reality experience at the VOID in Disney Springs called, Ralph Breaks VR based on the new movie, RALPH BREAKS THE INTERNET which was released today. The VOID also created last year, Star Wars: Secrets of the Empire, which combines Hyper Virtual Reality with a “Canon” Star Wars sequence taking place months prior to ROGUE ONE. Ralph Breaks VR combines the same elements of Secrets of the Empire, but brings guests into the magical world of the internet along with Wreck it Ralph and Vanellope Von Schweetz.

Ralph Breaks VR allows guests to put on a Virtual Reality helmet and vest and be brought into the world of the internet alongside the movie characters. You’ll play games like Space Invaders and Pancake/Milkshake with your teammates and rack up points. I personally recommend seeing the new movie prior to experiencing this awesome Virtual Reality experience.

The experience is so life like that you’ll actually feel like you are in the world of Ralph Breaks the Internet or Star Wars (if you choose that experience.) Inside the Virtual Reality world you’ll actually be able to use your five senses to fully immerse you into this magical world. You’ll be able to grab a blaster and shoot pancakes and milkshakes at enemies, feel the heat of a fire, and even feel like your falling (nothing like Tower of Terror though.)

Ralph Breaks the VR begins today at Disney Springs and at Downtown Disney in Anaheim. Tickets begin at $29.95 per person and (in my opinion) is worth every penny. Currently there are no discounts for Annual Passholders of Walt Disney World, however if you are a Walt Disney World Cast Member, there is a discount available at the VOID location day of. Be sure to check out the website below for more information on how to book your next experience at The VOID.

DISCLOSURE: The VOID invited Adventures by Daddy to the special preview of Ralph Breaks VR at Disney Springs, however the opinions expressed in this article are that of the author. For more family travel news, reviews, and trip reports, be sure to follow Adventures by Daddy on InstagramTwitter, and “like” our Facebook page too.
