AVENGERS ENDGAME Opens April 26, 2019

Update June 25, 2019

It wasn’t just Thanos our heroes faced in AVENGERS ENDGAME. Now they need our help to defeat an even bigger foe – AVATAR! AVENGERS ENDGAME is so close to taking down AVATAR (2009), that Marvel Studios is bringing the film back on Friday, June 28 just ahead of the release of SPIDER-MAN: FAR FROM HOME. And that’s not all!

Fans who buy a movie ticket will receive an exclusive piece of Avengers art (available in select theaters and until supplies run out) and will also be treated to a video introduction by director Anthony Russo and an unfinished deleted scene from the film, and it will be a chance for fans to get a head start on the upcoming Marvel Studios’ SPIDER-MAN: FAR FROM HOME via a special sneak peek.

Update March 14, 2019

Whatever it takes… the theme for the latest Marvel Studios’ AVENGERS ENDGAME trailer. Whatever it takes.

Original post from December 7, 2018 follows below

Marvel Studios’ AVENGERS ENDGAME – we’ve waited a year to find out what happens after “the snap.” Thanos decimated the Avengers and eliminated half the population of the universe after obtaining all of the Infinity Stones. In our first look at AVENGERS ENDGAME Tony Stark (Robert Downey Jr.) is adrift in space and leaves a message for Pepper Potts, “part of the journey is the end.” AVENGERS ENDGAME opens in theaters on April 26, 2019.

Avengers Endgame

There are still many questions regarding how what’s left of the Avengers and Guardians of the Galaxy will regroup/recover following The Decimation. Both Scott Lang/Ant-Man (Paul Rudd) and Clint Barton/Hawkeye stayed with their families while the events of AVENGERS INFINITY WAR unfolded. However, they both show up in this AVENGERS ENDGAME trailer, so they are back in the fray for this fight. I can’t wait to find out how Ant-Man successfully returned from his foray into the Quantum Realm at the end of ANT-MAN AND THE WASP.

But first, before AVENGERS END GAME hits the big screen, Marvel Studios’ CAPTAIN MARVEL comes to theaters on March 8, 2019. Marvel’s first solo female superhero stand-alone film will share the backstory for how Carol Danvers (Brie Larson) transforms from United States Air Force officer to one of the world’s mightiest superheroes. Since Nick Fury was last seen in AVENGERS INFINITY WAR paging Captain Marvel, presumably she has a big role to play in AVENGERS ENDGAME.
