Prince William and Kate Attend London “War Horse” Premiere and Fundraising Event

On Sunday, January 8, 2012 British Royalty met Hollywood Royalty as Prince William and Kate, the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge, attended the London premiere of DreamWorks Pictures “War Horse” at the Odeon Cinema.  Prince William and Kate met with director Steven Spielberg and several other members of the cast and crew (including Joey, the horse) during the screening.  The premiere served as a fundraising event for the Foundation of Prince William and Prince Harry, and hundreds of beneficiaries of the Foundation were in attendance.  Continue after the break for more photos from the London Royal Premiere.

Steven Spielberg’s sweeping epic “War Horse” follows the story of the First World War through the eyes of a single calvary horse, and is based on the book by Michael Morpurgo and award winning stage play by Nick Stafford.  “War Horse” opened in US theaters on Christmas Day, and has garnered two Golden Globe nominations – “Best Motion Picture – Drama” and “Best Original Score – Motion Picture.”
