Walt Disney World’s Be Our Guest Breakfast – Worth the Money or Not?

My little princess (age 9) loves the Disney movie, Beauty and the Beast. Anytime we go to Magic Kingdom, she always wants to head over to the new Fantasyland to see Beast’s Enchanted Castle. When I heard that Disney started offering a Be Our Guest breakfast (inside Beast’s Enchanted Castle), I knew we needed to make a trip to Magic Kingdom to surprise my daughter.

Be Our Guest Restaurant

Be Our Guest Restaurant is inside the Beast’s Castle in Fantasyland. This huge restaurant seats over 550 people in three separate dining areas. There is a Grand Ballroom with a high domed ceiling and spectacular chandeliers. Along the far wall you will see floor to ceiling windows with snow flurries outside. Yes, I did say snow flurries (in Florida). To the left is a dark room called the West Wing. This room can be scary for younger kids, so you may want to peek in, but dine in one of the other rooms. In this room, you will see the rose and the petals falling off the rose (just like the story). As a pedal falls, something mysterious happens! In the Castle Gallery, you will immediately see Belle and Beast dancing in the center of the room. This bright room is Belle’s private library with lots of seating and artwork around the whole room. This is one of our family’s favorite rooms.

Be Our Guest Restaurant

Dining at Be Our Guest is not just about the food, it is about the experience. I say that only because this restaurant is super expensive for a counter service breakfast. The portions are also smaller. It was fine for my wife and kids, but I did leave hungry. The price is $19.99 per adult and $11.99 per child. You then pick the entree and beverage. The meal also comes with a pastry plate or treats. You select one adult entree from a list of menu items; including Eggs Florentine, Vegetable Quiche, Open-Face Bacon and Egg Sandwich, Croissant Doughnut, Scrambled Egg Whites, or Assorted Meats and Cheeses. For the kids, you can choose from Crepes, French Toast, Oatmeal, Scrambled Eggs, or Cereal.

You can come along with us to Be Our Guest to experience this brand new breakfast, along with our honest review of the meal. Of course, we cannot visit Magic Kingdom without hitting some rides around the park. Come along with our family as we visit Magic Kingdom.
