Charity Auction: Universal Orlando Halloween Horror Nights Media Gift for Give Kids The World

On this day before Halloween, we have one final trick up our sleeves from Universal Orlando’s Halloween Horror Nights 25.  However, this will end up a treat for some well-deserving kids.  Continue reading to see this year’s “gift,” and how you can bid on the item with 100% of the proceeds going to Give Kids The World Village. If you weren’t able to make it to HHN25, follow this link for our full review including John Saccheri’s videos.

The Halloween Horror Nights 25 package was exceedingly clever, and included the backstory of the Universal Orlando selfie-loving guest Hal.  During Hal’s visit to Universal Studios Florida, he snapped selfies every five minutes or so by the Hollywood Rip Ride Rockit roller coaster, through the New York streets of the park, and even as he entered some restricted backstage areas.

Unfortunately, this led Hal deep into the lair of Halloween Horror Nights 25 icon, Jack The Clown, and Jack was more than willing to pose with Hal to help him out with a few selfies for his collection.  The pace of the shots quickened, as Jack became more and more manic.

Of course once the selfies are taken, there’s only one thing left to do – share!  And that’s just what Jack set out to do.

So what happened to those images you ask?  Well, that’s where the Universal Orlando media gift comes to play.  Earlier this fall I received a package with a nicely wrapped wooden box.  Inside, a blood splattered cloth wrapped Hal’s severed arm, and there was a special engraved invitation to Halloween Horror Nights 25.

Along with a clever warning that, like Hal, selfie sticks are not welcome at Universal Orlando’s Halloween Horror Nights 25.

And if you’re wondering what happened to those photos that Jack took?  Well, if you’re the winning bid in our auction, you can see them all on Hal’s working cell phone that was included in the Halloween Horror Nights media gift.
