Similar to the Polynesian Bungalows that opened in 2015, the limited number of Cascade Cabins (just 26 lake front cabins) are targeted towards the luxury, high-end family vacation traveler.  I would definitely call the ambiance “rustic elegance.” While the environment may suggest a “roughing it” feel, the accommodations feel luxurious.  Yes, this is certainly Disney’s version of Glamping.

While touring the Cascade Cabins, I was thrilled to find out each has unique décor and wall art – all of it organic, natural, and nothing from man-made manufactured items.

Each of the Cascade Cabins comes with 2 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, fireplace, full modern kitchen, screened-in porch, and your own personal private hot tub.  Imagine sitting in your own hot tub in the evening watching the Electrical Water Pageant pass by behind your cabin.

Copper Creek Villas & Cascade Cabins is inspired by the legendary mining and railroad history of the Pacific Northwest. Rustic elegance trims every part of this new resort, where cozy touches mix with contemporary designs to create a tranquil retreat.

In addition to the Cascade Cabins, Copper Creek offers studios, one bedroom and two bedroom villas as well as a three bedroom grand villa that is larger than most decent sized homes and certainly luxuriously appointed.

About John Saccheri

John Saccheri has been rooted in the Disney culture from childhood. John only had the opportunity to visit Walt Disney World once, at the age of 5. After returning home, he never stopped talking about it, yearning to return. His parents were worried about this “obsession,” but John began working at the age of 12 with a focus on saving up for the next Disney trip. He was able to visit Disney World at least once a year from 14 years old onward. Today, a successful entrepreneur, John was able to move from his hometown of Long Island, New York, to Central Florida to be close to the Mouse. Going to the parks still seems like a fantasy to him!
